Listening to My Body

It’s day three, and I haven’t had any caffeine.
Right now, I’m focusing on my digestive system—working to alleviate IBS symptoms and help my body function more efficiently. I’ve dealt with gluten sensitivity for over 10 years. While it’s improved recently, inflammation is still something I manage daily. As many of us have learned through the health content we consume, chronic inflammation often sits at the root of a variety of health issues.
So now, I’m paying close attention to what I eat and everything I ingest—becoming more mindful of how my digestive system responds.
The Challenge of Prioritizing Health
Having studied health and wellness coaching and nutrition, I often ask myself: Am I the only one putting this much effort into feeling okay? Or is everyone else simply too busy?
I’ve definitely had days where I was too busy to care—where I just needed something (anything) to get me through.
This isn’t a discussion about masculine vs. feminine energies, but more a question of whether we actually listen to our bodies. Do we rely on the signals they send to help us stay balanced?
Whether you’re working part-time, full-time, freelancing, or juggling gigs remotely, how conscious are you about your health and what you’re consuming? I don’t think I’m the only one—but sometimes it feels like I’m the only one who has to put this much effort into figuring out what my body can or cannot handle.
How This Ties Into My Coaching and Consulting
So what does this have to do with coaching and consulting?
This is exactly the space I work in: helping people build sustainable health habits. Because how we take care of ourselves affects everything—our energy, our mental clarity, our moods, and ultimately our performance in both life and work.
Your health journey is foundational. And if you’re ready to explore it more intentionally, I’m here to guide you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
